crafty organizing

i have a small corner, of our guest bedroom, that i consider my crafting/sewing space.  let's just call it what it really is - a mess.  this is an honest photo, no staging, of what it currently looks like.  mind you, those drawers in that dresser aren't very pretty inside either.  try as i might, i cannot get this area together.  which, of course, means lots of cursing and fumbling around looking for things that i can't find that i know are around here somewhere.  right now, this corner is a combination of supplies, fabrics, mail, channing's things, and multiple random items that have just seemed to land here.  i am dreaming of an organized, beautiful space for all of my supplies and fabrics to call home.  i don't get an entire room, just a corner...so i really want to make the most of it.  here's what i am finding for inspiration...
